The future of Heather Kay Modelling

Life, as many of you will know, can be challenging. Circumstances can change quickly, and throw plans into disarray.

As I get older, and since I married my long-time life partner in 2021, personal circumstances have changed considerably. A few years ago I became a full-time carer for my late husband. Inevitably, this ate into time at the workbench.

Since I was widowed in February 2025 I have been slowly rebuilding life without my partner and husband of over thirty years. I am not getting any younger, and age is bringing various ailments into my life. I have decided to close down my professional modelmaking work and retire.

I would like to add my thanks for the support and advice given by friends over the years I have been building professionally. I would also like to thank clients, past and present, who have put their faith in my abilities.

Once I have completed outstanding commissions, I plan to repurpose this place to better reflect my many other interests and any modelling activities.
